How it all began…

Hi, I’m Kelsey. I’m a 1/3 Sacral Manifesting Generator. Libra Rising, Taurus Sun, and Sagittarius Moon.

This story starts when I went to college.

I chose pre-med—majoring in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience…

Only for the sole reason that it interested me and I was “good at it”. I knew pre-med, after graduation and residency (some 8-12 years later), meant a good salary to pay off debts I would accumulate.

My whole life changed when I chose to drop out of that program, and out of earning a degree two years into schooling.

I had just moved to a new state, halfway across the country, and something in me knew there was more out there for me. I had to find it.

I was also in a lot of debt, and didn’t want to go into more without knowing what I wanted to do with my degree (which i had no idea of at the time).

Despite my conditioning telling me that I would never make it without a degree, and be in debt for the rest of my life…

I craved freedom, and to find another way to pursue my interests and turn my passions into a career.

I had to trust that, somehow, I was making the right decision.

It was around this time that I started to dive into self-development tools, devouring all the books I could find (Ralph Waldo Emerson, Eckhart Tolle, Michael Singer, Wayne Dyer, Joe Dispenza, etc).

With a background in Biology, Psychology, and Neuroscience, it was something I was incredibly interested in anyway and yet had never thought to pursue on my own while in school for it.

Soon I stumbled across Astrology, and it changed everything for me.

I started to learn about this modality and how it applied to my life and the lives of those around me, with scary accuracy.

Then I found Human Design, and again the investigating began.

I started to share what I was learning with those around me, until people started to ask me how they could pay me for my knowledge.

Thus, in September of 2020, UnderstandAstrology.me (the OG name of this website) was born.

About a year later, I learned about the deeper connections between Astrology and Human Design, and found a new passion within the two.

I started to combine them for even deeper insight and guidance with my clients.

Understand Astrology became Understand Astrology AND Human Design, which became Learn AstroHD.

Astrology is the tool in which you can discover your soul’s path and the reason you chose to incarnate in this life…

Human Design gives you clarity on how you are meant to operate and make decisions to move through this life with ease and grace.

Astrology is your soul’s roadmap, and Human Design is your compass.
