For the most accurate results, yes. If you don't know your exact birth time, try to get as close as possible. If you don’t know it, you can guess or use 12:00pm to start. Although it might not be accurate until you have a more narrowed down birth time.

An astrology chart, also known as a natal chart, is a map of where all the planets were in their journey around the Sun at the exact moment you were born.

I primarily practice evolutionary astrology, which focuses on understanding your soul's journey and growth. I blend this with Western astrology, Hellenistic traditions, and techniques from ancient astrology to provide a holistic perspective.

• Tropical (Western) Astrology: This system is based on the seasons, starting the zodiac with Aries at the spring equinox. It’s commonly used in Western/Modern astrology.

• Sidereal Astrology: This system accounts for the slight shift in the Earth's axis over time, aligning the zodiac with the constellations as they appear in the sky today.

• Vedic Astrology: Also called Jyotish, this is the traditional system of astrology from India. It uses the Sidereal system and incorporates unique techniques and philosophies.

• I primarily use Tropical astrology, which aligns with the seasonal zodiac, but I encourage you to explore these systems to find what resonates most with you.

Human Design helps you understand the actor and role you are here to play in the movie of your life. Astrology tells you about your movie—like the story of your life. Human Design gets really specific into YOU, and how you’re meant to move through your life. While Astrology gives more general themes about how your story will go, and the varying focus of your life at any given time.

The main chart calculator at the top of the page uses the Whole Sign House system. If you’d like to pull up your Astrology chart using Placidus, scroll to the bottom of the page.

I personally recommend Whole Sign houses because it provides a clear and consistent view of each house in your chart, making it easier to interpret. That said, the house system you choose is a personal preference. Chiron and Lilith show up in both Astrology and Human Design charts. In astrology, Chiron represents your deepest wounds and healing journey, while Lilith reflects themes around power, freedom, and repressed desires. I have included these asteroids in my chart calculator because I believe them to be incredibly important in understanding fundamental things about yourself with your chart.

In Human Design, Chiron and Lilith are visible in your chart but don’t activate gates in the bodygraph (where you see the colored or white shapes and lines) . They provide valuable insight into your journey and themes in your life, but their influence is more subtle in Human Design compared to Astrology. Learn more about Chiron on the blog here.
