Chiron in Taurus: Healing Your Relationship With Worth, Money, Food & Self-Value

Have you noticed your relationship with food changing lately?

Maybe you're wanting to cook more at home.

Maybe you're paying closer attention to ingredients and food quality.

Maybe you're finding yourself less interested in convenience and more interested in nourishment.

Or perhaps you're questioning your relationship with money, work, self-worth, and what truly brings value to your life.

If so, you're already getting a glimpse of what Chiron in Taurus is here to teach us.

On June 19th, Chiron enters Taurus for the first time, giving us a preview of a transit that will shape the collective until 2034.

And I think it's going to be one of the most important shifts of the next decade.

Chiron Is Giving Us A Preview

Before we go any further, it's important to understand that Chiron isn't fully settling into Taurus just yet.

Chiron enters Taurus on June 19th, giving us our first taste of what this next chapter will be about.

However, Chiron will station retrograde and move back into Aries on September 17th 2026.

Think of this as a preview trailer.

We're getting a glimpse of the themes that will become much bigger over the coming years.

Pay attention to what comes up for you between June and September around:

  • Food

  • Money

  • Self-worth

  • Security

  • Values

  • Receiving

  • Your relationship with your body

These themes are likely clues about the healing journey ahead.

Once Chiron moves back into Aries, we'll revisit (for a final time) some of the lessons we've been working through since 2018 around identity, independence, courage, anger, and self-trust.

Then on April 14 2027, Chiron will re-enter Taurus and begin its much longer stay there.

That's why I always pay close attention to these first ingresses into a new sign.

They're often giving us hints about the next chapter before the story fully begins.

What Does Chiron Represent?

In Astrology, Chiron represents our wounds, healing journey, triggers, insecurities, and the places where life asks us to grow.

Chiron often brings awareness to something that isn't working so it can be healed.

Sometimes that healing feels uncomfortable at first.

But ultimately, Chiron helps us reclaim parts of ourselves we've disconnected from.

What Does Taurus Represent?

Taurus rules:

  • Money

  • Resources

  • Food

  • Agriculture

  • Self-worth

  • Values

  • Security

  • Pleasure

  • Simplicity

  • Nature

It's the sign most connected to the physical world and our relationship with it.

So when Chiron enters Taurus, these themes become the collective classroom.

The Collective Healing Of Chiron In Taurus

One of the biggest things I expect to see is a massive shift in our relationship with food.

We're already seeing it.

People are questioning food quality.

Growing their own food.

Shopping locally.

Paying more attention to ingredients.

Learning where their food comes from.

Wanting less processed food and more nourishment.

This transit asks:
"What actually supports my body?"

Not just what is convenient.

Not just what is cheap.

But what truly nourishes me?

Healing Around Money & Self-Worth

Taurus doesn't just rule money.

It rules self-worth.

And there's a huge difference.

Many of us have tied our value to:

  • Productivity

  • Career success

  • Income

  • Accomplishments

  • External validation

Chiron in Taurus is here to challenge that.

Who are you if your worth isn't tied to what you produce?

Who are you if your value isn't determined by how much money you make?

Who are you when you stop chasing validation and start embodying your worth?

Those are the questions Chiron in Taurus will continue asking over the next several years.

The Shadow Side Of Chiron In Taurus

Every transit has a shadow.

For Chiron in Taurus, that could look like:

  • Materialism

  • Overworking

  • Chasing money at all costs

  • Seeking validation through possessions

  • Equating wealth with worth

  • Avoiding healing through productivity

In other words:

Trying to earn your worth instead of recognizing it already exists.
