Your Midheaven Is the Career Cheat Code Nobody Talks About
If you want to understand your career path, personal brand, public reputation, or even what kind of content you're naturally meant to create, start with your Midheaven.
Most people know their Sun sign.
Some know their Moon sign.
A few know their Rising sign.
But not enough people pay attention to the Midheaven.
It's one of the most underrated placements in Astrology.
What Is the Midheaven?
The Midheaven (MC) sits at the very top of your birth chart.
Traditionally, it represents:
career
public reputation
legacy
visibility
recognition
what you're known for
It's the energy people associate with you when they think about your work and contribution to the world.
But here's the part most people miss.
Your Midheaven isn't the whole story.
The real magic happens when you look at the ruler of your Midheaven.
Your Midheaven Ruler Is the Key
Let's say your Midheaven is in Aries.
Aries is ruled by Mars.
So the next question becomes:
Where is your Mars?
What sign is it in?
What house is it in?
Any aspects to other planets? What decan is it in? Etc.
That's where a huge part of your career story lives.
The Midheaven shows the destination.
The ruling planet shows how you get there.
My Midheaven Is Cancer
Most people are surprised when I tell them my Midheaven is Cancer.
No one ever guesses it.
Which is funny because Cancer is ruled by the Moon.
And when you follow the ruler, everything starts making sense.
My Moon is in Sagittarius in the 3rd House.
The 3rd House rules communication, teaching, writing, learning, speaking, and sharing information.
What do I do all day?
Teach. Write. Create content.
Talk about Astrology and Human Design.
The Moon also loves being in the 3rd House because it's naturally connected to communication and sharing experiences.
Then we go deeper.
My Sagittarius Moon is in the decan of the Sun.
Where is my Sun?
In Taurus in the 8th House.
What do I talk about?
Astrology. Human Design.
Personal growth.
The occult. Transformation.
The deeper things most people don't talk about at brunch.
And because my Sun is in Taurus, I tend to teach those topics in a practical, grounded, easy-to-understand way.
I don't want Astrology to stay in the clouds.
I want people to actually use it.
Then we can go even further.
My Mercury sits right next to my Sun in Taurus.
Mercury rules communication and teaching.
My Mercury is in the decan of Venus.
Where is my Venus?
Gemini in the 9th House.
The 9th House rules teaching, philosophy, publishing, education, and sharing wisdom.
So naturally, I teach through content creation.
I share ideas. I write. I create courses.
I explain complex concepts in ways people can actually understand.
