Unlocking Better Sleep with Human Design: Understanding the DreamRave Sleep Chart and Why Most People are Meant to Sleep Alone

yeah i mean it, most people are meant to sleep totally alone

in Human Design, we each have an energy type, called the Aura

that Aura spans about 6 feet, in every direction around us, at all times

Manifestors have a closed and repelling aura

Generators and Manifesting Generators have an open, enveloping, and magnetic aura

Projectors have a focused, penetrating, and absorbing aura

Reflectors have a mirroring, resistant, and sampling aura

each aura is unique and tells you how your energy is meant to operate (i.e. your strategy) in your highest alignment, as your true self

that is called your Waking Chart

when you go to sleep, you have something called a ‘Sleep Design’, Sleep Chart, or the DreamRave

this is a completely different chart than you have when you’re awake

it tells you your exact aura and where you’re susceptible to taking in energy/conditioning, when you’re sleeping (calculate yours here with Genetic Matrix’s membership - watch the video below for a visual walkthrough)

most people (about 70%) are completely open, and Reflectors when they’re sleeping

therefore, most of the world’s population is completely open while asleep

making them susceptible to taking in massive amounts of energy, they have almost no control over (other than sleeping alone)

being unaware of this and not doing what you can to navigate this about yourself can lead to illness, injury, programming your not-self, and just not feeling like yourself

here’s what a Sleep Chart looks like:

i’d like to add that before investigating this deeper info in your design, it’s crucial to be aligned with your Strategy and Authority, as well as your Determination

the key differences are that in the Sleep Chart, there are only 5 centers instead of the normal 9 in the waking chart

there is no Ego, Solar Plexus (Emotional), Crown, or Ajna center

when you are sleeping there is no “I” (Ego center)

there are no emotions (Solar Plexus center)

and there is no mental awareness or Mind (Crown & Ajna)

it is only upon waking and reentering the waking chart (the normal chart), that these parts of you are activated

another key difference is that there are only 15 gates that can be activated in the sleep design

these gates don’t have the normal expression that the same gates would in the waking design

these gates tell you how you experience dreams and where that contributes to the programming and conditioning you receive while you’re asleep

The Light Field:

these are the gates in which we are experiencing programming in the Personality crystal (the conscious part of us)

62 - Love
20 - Sight
57 - Attunement
8 - Darkness
1 - Joy

The Demon Realm:

these are the gates in which you are experiencing programming at the unconscious level, in your Body/Design

19 - Environments
53 - Flight
42 - Dying
38 - Aggression
28 - Fear

The Earth Plane:

these are the gates in which you are being programmed by the collective unconscious, the thoughts/feelings of the people on the Earth awake while you’re asleep

12 - Mutation
27 - Yearning
50 - Sex
5 - Time
15 - Chaos

each of these Gates in the Sleep Design, also has a line (1-6) going through it

this line changes the expression of that gate and how that gate feeds you the dreams you experience that relate to your programming

you can also have what’s called a “weak point” in your waking chart, due to the makeup of your sleeping chart

for example, if you have Gate 8 in your sleep chart, and Gate 1 in your waking design, this will tell you the type of programming you generally experience in your dreams that contribute to your not-self when you’re awake

this weak point tells you where you are subject to experience conditioning in your sleep that can affect your ability to align with your true self in your waking state
